Complications to know about
Some swelling and discomfort for a few days is normal. Pain that increases two to four days after the procedure, a bad taste or a fever should make you get in touch quickly.

Do wisdom teeth always have to come out?
No. They are removed when they cause pain, infection, decay or damage to neighbouring teeth, or when they do not have room to come through.
Is an extraction painful?
Under local anaesthesia you feel no pain. Moderate discomfort may follow and is relieved with the prescribed medication.
When can I get back to normal life?
Usually within one to two days, avoiding intense effort and following the instructions.
