Dental crowns, bridges and dentures in Tunis

A crown covers and protects a weakened tooth. A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by resting on the neighbouring teeth. A removable denture replaces a larger number of teeth and can be stabilised with implants.

The choice of material (zirconia, ceramic, metal-ceramic) depends on the position of the tooth, the aesthetics you want and the strength of your bite. We explain it before we start.

The different solutions

  • Zirconia or ceramic crown: very aesthetic and strong
  • Metal-ceramic crown: a proven solution for some situations
  • Bridge: replace a missing tooth by resting on its neighbours
  • Partial or complete removable denture
  • Implant-supported denture for extra stability

A precise fit

We use 3D digital impressions so the laboratory receives a faithful model. A temporary crown protects the tooth between visits, then the final crown is tried in, adjusted and bonded.

This information is general and does not replace a consultation: every situation is different.

Your questions about: crowns and dentures

How many visits does a crown take?

Usually two: preparing the tooth with an impression, then fitting the final crown once it has been made in the laboratory.

Zirconia or ceramic: which one?

Zirconia is very strong, ideal at the back of the mouth. Ceramic is very aesthetic, often preferred for visible teeth. We choose according to your case.

How do I look after a crown?

Like a natural tooth: brushing, interdental brushes and regular check-ups.
